It is with great pleasure that I invite you to participate in the XXVI AICCER Congress – International Edition, which will be held in Trieste from March 27 to 29, 2025.
This edition represents an important opportunity for our community to meet, share knowledge and explore the latest innovations and developments in the field of cataract and refractive surgery. We are particularly excited to announce that the Congress will feature sessions in English with the participation of top-level international speakers. To ensure the maximum accessibility of the presentations and to foster constructive dialogue, simultaneous translation services will be available.
The Congress programme will include a series of scientific sessions, interactive workshops and roundtable discussions covering a wide range of topics of interest to professionals in the field. It will be a significant moment for all of us to discuss new techniques, share clinical experiences and create collaborative networks that will continue well beyond the duration of the Event.

Participation in the Congress
Participation in the XXVI AICCER Congress is subject to registration.

Online registration will close on 20 February 2024. After that date it will be possible to register only on site, during the Congress.
What does the registration fee include?

Lunches are not included in the registration fee.

Please indicate in the payment description “AICCER Congress 2025 Registration Fee” and send a copy of the bank transfer by email (aiccer2025@aimgroup.eu).
Registration will be considered confirmed upon payment of the registration fee. Confirmation will be sent to all participants upon receipt of payment.
Cancellation and Refunds
All registration cancellation requests should be sent to the Organizing Secretariat AIM Group Internation in writing by e-mail to aiccer2025@aimgroup.eu.
For cancellation requests received until 14 December 2024, the full registration fee will be refunded with a 30% deduction for administrative expenses.
No refunds will be made for requests received after 14 December 2024.
All refunds will be processed within 60 days after the Congress ends.

CALL FOR PAPER
All AICCER members and non-member are invited to propose a scientific contribution for the XXVI Congress, which can be presented as a Video or Oral Communication.
The proposed topics for this edition are:
- CATARACT SURGERY
- REFRACTIVE SURGERY
INSTRUCTIONS:
- During the submission process, you will be asked to indicate the main author of the work (who will be considered, by the Organizing Secretariat, as the corresponding author), as well as the author who will present the work.
- Received abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Congress Organizing Committee, results will be communicated to the main author by 7 January 2025.
Abstract submission must be done by 15 November 2024.
Author Registration
Presenters of oral communications must be regularly registered to the Congress. The registration of the presenting author must be received within 10 days of the abstract notification of acceptance.
